Job summary

Dexcom Corporation is seeking a Sr Process Engineer to join the San Diego Innovation Center of Excellence. You will lead improvements for assembly products, drive root-cause analyses, and work with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Operations to enhance process capability and product quality.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with DMAIC/DOE/SPC and hands-on troubleshooting in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Travel as needed and a focus on scalable manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with related experience.
• 5–8 years of related experience or Master’s degree with 2–5 years, or PhD with 0–2 years.
• Experience driving manufacturing process improvements and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvements for assembly products focusing on quality, reliability and cost.
• Drive root-cause investigations and failure analyses using analytical methods.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Operations Engineering to improve process capability and product quality.
• Support production scale-up, second-source qualification, and change control per design controls and quality systems.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities including planning, design transfer and scale-up.
• Apply DMAIC, DOE, SPC, RCA and drive IQ/OQ/PQ validation.
