Job summary

Dexcom is seeking an experienced engineer to own the development and characterization of biosensing processes and equipment from concept through on-line production. You will lead a cross-functional team, develop DOE studies, and coordinate vendor integration to deliver high-capability manufacturing processes on a pilot-to-full-scale path.

You will mentor engineers, manage timelines, and drive quality through design specifications, measurement systems analysis, and robust validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with extensive industry experience or higher degrees with years of experience as described.
• Strong hands-on experience in high-volume manufacturing and biosensing processes.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills.
• Experience with design of experiments (DOEs) and process validation.
• Ability to scale from prototype to pilot to full-scale manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own development and characterization of processes and equipment from concept to production line.
• Develop and maintain project timelines and report to leadership.
• Apply biosensing and signal processing to sensor fabrication; lead DOEs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to scale processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers performing similar work.
• Create equipment specs, drawings, calibration and maintenance plans.
• Perform CAPA, risk tracking, and validation on new processes.
