Job summary

Dexcom's San Diego Innovation Center of Excellence seeks a manufacturing technician to support pilot plant processes, calibration, and equipment readiness. You will diagnose process issues, assist in process improvements, and contribute to SOP creation while working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include trouble shooting, data-driven problem solving, and maintaining safe, compliant operations in a fast-paced environment. Some evenings/weekends and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of lean principles.
• Ability to analyze processes, identify defects, and apply corrective actions.
• Familiarity with SPC and reading technical drawings is preferred.
• Capable of working with PLCs and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of equipment and production areas and report faults.
• Support process improvement initiatives with engineers and technicians.
• Conduct fault detection, SPC monitoring, and equipment verifications.
• Lead root-cause analysis for quality issues and manufacturing incidents.
• Assist in creating and maintaining SOPs and technical documentation.
