Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to drive process transformation across business and technology teams, leveraging automation and AI to improve efficiency and customer experience. You will shape enterprise process models, governance, and metrics while mentoring staff and championing continuous improvement.

You will partner with leaders to analyze complex processes, design future-state architectures, and lead governance of process standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related experience
• 4-6 years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, operations, or process engineering
• Knowledge of process mapping and modeling methodologies (e.g., BPMN)
• Understanding Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices
• Familiarity with automation platforms and emerging AI capabilities
• Ability to document requirements and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead process discovery, analysis, and requirements definition across complex business, technology, automation, and AI initiatives
• Design and maintain enterprise process models, value stream maps, and governance artifacts
• Facilitate Value Stream Mapping sessions for the enterprise program
• Recommend scalable process and AI-enabled solutions to stakeholders
• Support FMEA sessions to identify and mitigate process risks
• Drive optimization by identifying inefficiencies, risks, and control gaps
• Lead integration of automation and AI capabilities to improve outcomes
• Define business requirements, data flows, and system interactions for solutions
• Establish KPIs and governance standards for process performance
• Conduct impact assessments for technology implementations and organizational changes
• Maintain process inventories and documentation standards
• Collaborate across business, technology, data, automation, and AI teams
• Maintain expertise in intelligent automation and AI technologies
