Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead transformation efforts across business and technology functions. You will partner with leaders, automation specialists, and AI experts to analyze processes, design scalable solutions, and drive governance and performance metrics.

You will supervise process discovery, current and future state models, and value stream maps while mentoring team members and shaping enterprise process strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 4–6 years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, operations, or process engineering.
• Strong knowledge of BPMN or similar standards and process modeling.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods.
• Familiarity with automation and AI-enabled process capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead process discovery, analysis, and requirements for complex initiatives.
• Design and maintain enterprise process architectures and models.
• Facilitate Value Stream Mapping sessions.
• Advise stakeholders on scalable process, automation, and AI solutions.
• Support FMEA sessions to identify process risks.
• Drive process optimization to improve performance and customer experience.
• Lead evaluation/integration of automation and AI capabilities.
• Define requirements, data flows, and governance for solutions.
• Establish and monitor process performance metrics and governance.
