Northrop Grumman in Utah is seeking a Principal Process Engineer – Level 3 to join our Space Sector in Clearfield/Salt Lake City. The role partners with design engineering and production to resolve manufacturing issues, improve safety, quality, cost, and efficiency, and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities include developing and improving processes, maintaining MBOM, preparing work instructions, analyzing data, and presenting technical solutions to leadership and customers.

Formación

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Strong organizational skills with minimal direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and business databases.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with operations personnel.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes.
• Create detailed work instructions for products and processes.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering on manufacturability issues.
• Coordinate with production on day-to-day activities and resolve processing issues.
• Evaluate and aid in the disposition of discrepant hardware.
• Troubleshoot existing processes to improve safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Analyze processing data to highlight trends and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain MBOM and perform root-ccause analysis.
