Job summary

The role partners with design engineering and production to resolve issues and drive safety, quality, and cost improvements.

The ideal candidate will analyze production data, maintain MBOM, and present technical solutions to leadership and review boards. A U.S. government clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• 5 years with Bachelor's in Science; 3 years with Master's; 1 year with PhD.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and business databases.
• Experience with aerospace specifications and drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes.
• Create detailed work instructions for products and processes.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering on design/manufacturability issues.
• Coordinate with production on day-to-day activities.
• Assist in resolving processing issues.
• Evaluate and aid in disposition of discrepant hardware.
• Troubleshoot to improve safety, quality, cost, efficiency.
• Analyze processing data to highlight trends and action items.
• Maintain manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM).
• Present technical solutions to leadership and customers.
