Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Sr Principal Process Engineer – Level 4 to join our team in Clearfield, UT / Salt Lake City, UT. The role partners with design engineering, production, and cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve process performance.

This position follows a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. It involves analyzing production data, supporting tooling implementation, maintaining documentation, and presenting solutions to leadership and

Qualifications

• 8+ years with a Bachelor in Science
• 6+ years with a Master’s degree
• 4+ years with a PhD

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Maintain detailed work instructions for products and processes.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering on manufacturability and design issues.
• Coordinate with production on day-to-day activities and resolve processing issues.
• Analyze processing data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM).
• Prepare and present technical materials to leadership and customers.
