Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a senior process specialist to bridge business reality and AI delivery. You will map AS-IS workflows, capture informal work, and redesign TO-BE processes for AI engineers and product teams. You will guide practical, implementable solutions rather than theoretical ideas.

You will lead workshops across product engineering, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing to shape AI-enabled processes, KPIs, and ownership before automation is proposed.

Qualifications

• Typically 8+ years of experience in process improvement, lean operations, business transformation, product ownership, operations excellence, or process design in automotive.
• Strong problem-solving mindset to analyze root causes and translate ambiguity into practical actions.
• Lean thinking with ability to simplify workflows and reduce non-value-added steps.
• Excellent facilitation and written communication for structured documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews across enterprise functions.
• Map AS-IS processes, data inputs/outputs, and ownership down to task level.
• Capture informal work and hidden workflows outside formal systems.
• Identify bottlenecks, delays, and KPIs; propose measurable improvements.
