Job summary

HARMAN in Novi, MI is seeking an experienced AI Developer to design and deliver AI-enabled solutions that accelerate customer engagements and enable smarter business decisions. You will work across CRM, collaboration, and sales platforms to build reusable AI patterns and reliable copilots.

You’ll apply LangChain and vector DBs, integrate with Salesforce and Microsoft 365, and craft guardrails and observability to scale enterprise use. Hybrid office role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building production software or AI-enabled apps.
• Strong Python experience with FastAPI, Pandas, NumPy, Pydantic.
• Experience with LLMs, embeddings, vector DBs, RAG, and prompts.
• Familiarity with model ecosystems: OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS, or similar.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 services and Power Platform.
• Experience integrating with Salesforce, REST/GraphQL, SQL/NoSQL, and search services.
• Knowledge of data storage and retrieval patterns incl. vector databases.
• Cloud/DevOps with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring.
• Ability to work with ambiguous processes and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and product-thinking; quick learner.
• BS/MS in CS/SE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build AI and Generative AI solutions for engagement, RFx, and analytics.
• Create copilots, RAG search, document summarization, and automation tools.
• Use Microsoft 365 (SharePoint/Teams) as knowledge sources.
• Apply Power Platform to accelerate adoption and workflows.
• Integrate with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, low-code platforms, REST/GraphQL, data sources.
• Design retrieval pipelines over RFx, business cases, market intel, and content.
• Tune embeddings, vector searches, rerankers, prompts, routing policies.
• Develop agentic workflows using LangChain, LlamaIndex, MCP.
• Translate knowledge into prompts and reusable workflows.
• Implement guardrails, security, observability, cost controls.
• Containerize and deploy with cloud, CI/CD, monitoring with ops teams.
• Collaborate across sales, marketing, product, and platform teams.
