Job summary

McKesson HR is launching a new capability to automate HR processes with AI-enabled workflows. The HR AI Process Engineer identifies opportunities, designs scalable workflows, deploys agent-based solutions, and governs adoption across HR operations in Irving, Texas.

This senior IC role requires 10+ years of HR operations/process design experience, a Bachelor's degree, and Lean/Six Sigma or design-thinking credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, business, industrial engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• Process-improvement credential (e.g., Lean / Six Sigma) or design-thinking certification preferred.
• Typically 10+ years of relevant experience in HR operations, process design, HR technology, or service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify & Prioritize Opportunities (20%)—Assess HR processes to identify high-volume, repetitive work ideal for automation.
• Design & Simplify Workflows for Automation (20%)—Redesign processes to remove duplication and ensure inputs/outputs are clear.
• Deploy AI & Automation Solutions (20%)—Direct launch of agent-based workflows using core platforms.
• Operationalize, Govern & Scale (20%)—Establish deployment standards and governance for workflows.
• Measure Impact & Drive Adoption (20%)—Track capacity, cycle-time and adoption, demonstrating measurable value.
