Job summary

GEICO in Maryland is seeking an experienced lead privacy professional to support the Data Privacy program. You will report to the Data Privacy Director and apply initiative and judgment to governance, risk, and controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• IAPP certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or information systems required.
• 7+ years of experience supporting data privacy programs.
• Experience in a regulated financial services industry role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Privacy Assessments and Privacy by Design with stakeholders.
• Support management reporting of program maturity and privacy risk.
• Support ongoing optimization of GRE tools, OneTrust experience required.
• Provide leadership for data privacy incident response.
• Assist in development of notices, policies and procedures.
• Support regulatory change management including action plans and privacy by design requirements.
