GEICO is seeking an experienced privacy program lead to oversee operational privacy compliance. The role reports to the Data Privacy Director and requires guiding cross-functional teams in privacy risk management and regulatory adherence.

The position is hybrid, onsite 3 days per week at the GEICO office near you, with opportunities to influence GEICO’s data privacy program and tools, including GRE platforms and OneTrust.

Qualifications

• Experience leading privacy programs or teams.
• Understanding of CCPA, GLBA, controller/processor roles and regulatory obligations.
• Ability to read and comprehend legal materials such as laws and guidance.
• Self-starter with ability to manage and prioritize work based on risk.
• Strong understanding of data discovery, data governance, and cybersecurity principles.

Responsabilités

• Lead privacy assessments and Privacy by Design with stakeholders and report findings.
• Assist in management reporting of program maturity and privacy risk.
• Support ongoing optimization of GRE tools; OneTrust experience required.
• Provide leadership for data privacy incident response.
• Assist in developing notices, policies and procedures.
• Support regulatory change management including privacy by design requirements.
