Job summary

GEICO is seeking an experienced lead privacy professional to oversee the Data Privacy program, reporting to the Data Privacy Director. This role will drive privacy assessments, risk reporting, and incident response across the organization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with CCPA, GLBA, and related obligations, while promoting privacy by design and continuous improvement in privacy tooling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting data privacy programs.
• Understanding of CCPA, GLBA, and controller/processor obligations.
• Ability to read and comprehend laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance.
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize work based on risk and potential impact.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Privacy Assessments and Privacy by Design with business/technical stakeholders and reporting.
• Support Director in management reporting of program maturity and privacy risk.
• Support ongoing optimization of GRE tools; OneTrust experience required.
• Provide leadership for data privacy incident response.
• Assist in development of notices, policies and procedures.
• Support regulatory change management including action plans and privacy by design requirements.
