Job summary

GEICO is seeking a lead privacy professional to drive the Data Privacy program and accompany with a robust governance framework. You will oversee privacy assessments, Privacy by Design initiatives, and reporting of privacy risk to leadership, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to strengthen data protection.

The ideal candidate holds an IAPP certification, a bachelor’s degree, 7+ years in data privacy, and experience with OneTrust and regulatory obligations (CCPA, GLBA).

• Facilitate Privacy Assessments and Privacy by Design initiatives with stakeholders
• Provide effective leadership for data privacy incident response
• Assist in development of notices, policies and procedures
• Support regulatory change management including action plans and privacy by design requirements

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Privacy Assessments and Privacy by Design initiatives including collaboration with business/technical stakeholders and development of associated reporting that accurately identifies privacy risk and recommendations.
• Provide effective leadership for data privacy incident response.
• Assist in development of notices, policies and procedures.
• Support regulatory change management including creation of operational privacy action plans and privacy by design requirements.
