GEICO seeks an experienced lead privacy professional to advance the Data Privacy program, partnering with cross‑functional teams to strengthen the organization’s privacy posture. You will drive privacy assessments, risk reporting, and incident response in a hybrid NY role.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in privacy, IAPP certification, and a strong grasp of CCPA/GLBA frameworks, data governance, and regulatory guidance. On-site three days weekly at GEICO offices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading privacy programs or teams.
• Ability to read and interpret privacy laws and regulations.
• Strong collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders and business units.

Responsabilités

• Lead privacy assessments and privacy by design initiatives with stakeholders.
• Assist in management reporting of program maturity and privacy risk.
• Support ongoing optimization of GRE tools; OneTrust experience required.
• Provide leadership for data privacy incident response.
• Assist in development of notices, policies and procedures.
• Support regulatory change management and create operational privacy action plans.
