Job summary

GEICO, a leading auto insurer, seeks an experienced privacy leader to drive the Data Privacy program in a hybrid Virginia role. You will work under the Data Privacy Director to advance privacy governance across the organization and lead privacy by design initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in data privacy within regulated financial services, with strong knowledge of CCPA/GLBA and incident response. Experience with OneTrust and GRE tools is highly valued.

Qualifications

IAPP certification is required.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information system management, or related field is required.
7+ years experience supporting data privacy programs.
Experience in a regulated financial services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead privacy program initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Facilitate Privacy Assessments and Privacy by Design initiatives with reporting.
Support reporting on program maturity and privacy risk to leadership.
Support ongoing optimization of GRE tools and incident response leadership.
Assist in development of notices, policies and procedures.
Support regulatory change management and privacy by design requirements.
