Anthropic is seeking an experienced Incident Response Manager to own and evolve privacy incident management. This senior role leads detection, response, containment, remediation, and post-incident review across GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA and related obligations.

You will drive the lifecycle from detection to remediation, partner with Privacy Legal and the Privacy Program, and coordinate engineering, security, infrastructure, and product teams to ensure systemic improvements are implemented.

Qualifications

• Led or built incident response programs at a technology company.
• Turned incident data into organizational improvements and systemic fixes.
• Comfortable participating in on-call responsibilities and leading during high-severity privacy events, including off-hours.
• Experience scaling operational processes from the ground up in new environments.
• Excel at driving accountability and follow-through across multiple teams without direct authority.
• Strong analytical skills with incident trend analysis and metrics reporting.

Responsabilités

• Own the end-to-end privacy incident management program: detection workflows, response processes, escalation paths, communication standards, and remediation tracking.
• Serve as incident commander for privacy incidents, coordinating across executives, engineering, security, legal, and other stakeholders.
• Establish and run incident commander rotations within privacy, ensuring clear ownership during varying severity incidents.
• Drive post-incident accountability with action-item tracking and cross-team follow-through.
• Gather and report incident trends and patterns to surface systemic risks and root causes.
• Translate trend analysis into cross-functional initiatives to implement broad, preventive fixes.
