Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a senior Technical Program Manager to own and evolve incident management within the Detection & Response (D&R) team. You will lead detection workflows, response processes, escalation, and remediation tracking while driving cross-functional improvements across engineering, security, infrastructure, and product teams.

You’ll guide post-incident reviews and build scalable playbooks to ensure learnings are acted upon across the organization.

Qualifications

• Have 7+ years in technical program management, incident management, or security operations.
• Led incident response programs at a technology company, ideally high-growth or security-intensive.
• Experience leading on-call responsibilities during high-severity security events.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven prioritization.
• Excellent communication across executive and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end D&R incident management program: detection workflows, response processes, escalation paths, communication standards, and remediation tracking.
• Serve as incident commander for security incidents, driving coordination across executive, engineering, security, legal, and other stakeholders.
• Establish and run incident commander rotations within D&R for varying severities.
• Drive post-incident accountability by defining how action items are captured, assigned, tracked, and completed.
• Gather, analyze, and report incident trends to surface systemic risks and root causes.
• Translate trend analysis into cross-functional initiatives with engineering, infrastructure, security, and product teams.
• Lead incident review forums (post-mortems, retrospectives) and socialize learnings across the organization.
• Develop and maintain D&R incident response playbooks, runbooks, and training materials.
• Partner with detection engineering to improve alert fidelity and reduce noise.
• Define, develop, and track incident management KPIs for leadership reporting.
• Support cross-functional training to uplift security awareness across the company.
