Job summary

Anthropic is hiring a Technical Program Manager for Detection & Response to own and evolve incident management across security and operations. You will drive detection workflows, response playbooks, and post-incident improvements, coordinating with engineering, security, and product teams.

You will serve as incident commander for high-severity events and mentor teams on data-driven root cause analysis, trend reporting, and cross-functional accountability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, incident management, or security operations.
• Experience leading incident response programs in high-growth or security-focused environments.
• Ability to transform incident data into organizational improvements and drive cross-functional fixes.
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities and leading during high-severity security events.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end D&R incident management program including detection workflows, response processes, escalation paths, and remediation tracking.
• Serve as incident commander for security incidents coordinating across execs, engineering, security, legal, and other stakeholders.
• Establish incident commander rotations to ensure clear ownership and coordination during incidents of varying severity.
• Lead post-incident reviews, capture learnings, socialize them, and drive systemic improvements across teams.
