Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in incident management across technical product or infrastructure incidents.
• Built or significantly shaped an incident response program in a high-growth environment.
• Strong ownership and urgency with ability to act independently under pressure.
• Comfort with undefined guidance and evolving processes.
• Track record of cross-functional collaboration with engineering, security, legal, and leadership.
• Blameless, learning-oriented mindset for incident reviews and improvements.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure incidents and telemetry tools.

Responsibilities

• Build the incident response function, defining processes, tooling, and standards.
• Serve as on-call incident commander for coordinated responses across stakeholders.
• Engage the right people at the right time with urgency and direction.
• Own incident communications end-to-end, including status pages and customer updates.
• Participate in blameless post-incident reviews and drive remediation actions.
• Develop and maintain incident response policies, procedures, and escalation frameworks with engineering.
• Collaborate across teams to improve how the org detects, responds to, and learns from incidents.
