Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a Privacy Governance Senior Manager to lead a team of privacy engineers and drive the privacy program across the enterprise. You will collaborate with Legal, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product to implement privacy-by-design and scalable onboarding for brands and acquisitions.

You will own the privacy tech stack, CMP operations, and cookie governance while championing regulatory alignment and cross-functional risk mitigation in a highly autonomous role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in privacy or related field.
• Experience operating within or leading a privacy compliance program.
• Working knowledge of U.S. state privacy regulations.
• Experience with consent management platforms and cookie governance.
• Technical understanding of web tracking technologies and tag management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of privacy engineers and oversee CMP operations.
• Provide architectural guidance and maintain privacy tech stack.
• Partner with Legal, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product.
• Drive privacy onboarding for brands and acquisitions into centralized infra.
• Translate privacy concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
