Job summary
Cox Automotive is seeking a Privacy Governance Senior Manager to lead a team of privacy engineers and advance consent management, cookie governance, and the privacy library. You will collaborate with Privacy Legal, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product to embed privacy by design and ensure regulatory alignment across the enterprise.
You will also drive onboarding of brands and acquisitions into Cox Automotive's centralized privacy program and infrastructure, guiding cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in privacy or related field.
- Experience leading privacy compliance programs.
- Knowledge of U.S. state privacy regulations.
- Experience with CMP, cookie governance, and web tracking.
- Strong cross-functional communication and program management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of privacy engineers and oversee cookie categorization, CMP operations, and privacy library maintenance.
- Provide architectural guidance and maintain depth across the privacy tech stack.
- Partner with Privacy Legal, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product to embed privacy by design.
- Onboard brands and acquisitions into Cox Automotive's centralized privacy infrastructure.
- Translate privacy concepts for non-technical audiences and drive program adoption.
