Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Privacy Governance Senior Manager to lead a team of privacy engineers responsible for consent management, cookie governance, and privacy library maintenance, while guiding privacy operations across the enterprise.

You will partner with Privacy Legal, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product to embed privacy-by-design principles, onboard brands and acquisitions, and drive compliant, scalable privacy programs in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience (or equivalent).
• Experience operating within or leading a privacy compliance program.
• Working knowledge of U.S. state privacy regulations.
• Experience with consent management platforms, cookie governance, and web tracking compliance operations.
• Technical understanding of tag management systems, cookies, and consent signal architecture.
• Strong cross-functional communication and program management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of privacy engineers across CMP, cookie governance, and privacy library maintenance.
• Oversee privacy tech stack including CMPs, tag managers, cookie scanning, and data inventory tooling.
• Partner with Legal, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product to align privacy practices with regulation.
• Onboard and integrate brands and acquisitions into Cox's centralized privacy program.
