Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Privacy Governance Senior Manager to lead the privacy engineering and compliance program. You will manage a team of privacy engineers responsible for consent management, cookie governance, opt-out mechanisms, and privacy library maintenance, partnering with Privacy Legal, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product to embed privacy-by-design into the development lifecycle.

You will onboard and integrate brands and acquisitions into Cox's centralized privacy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; 8+ years in privacy or a related field.
• Experience operating within or leading a privacy compliance program.
• Working knowledge of U.S. state privacy regulations.
• Experience with consent management platforms, cookie governance, and web tracking compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of privacy engineers across CMP operations and cookie scanning.
• Partner with Privacy Legal, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product to embed privacy-by-design.
• Onboard brands and acquisitions into Cox's centralized privacy infrastructure.
• Drive privacy risk assessments, data flow documentation, and third-party reviews.
