Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Senior Assistant General Counsel – Privacy, Data Innovation & Protection to lead the privacy program within the Chief Privacy Officer’s organization.

This role requires strategic leadership across data innovation, first‑party data analytics & product development, and privacy‑enhancing technologies, partnering with product, engineering, marketing, and data science teams. You will manage a privacy team, shape legal strategy for adtech governance, and represent Intuit

Qualifications

• Active bar admission and eligibility to practice law in the jurisdiction where the role is located.
• JD from an accredited law school; CS/engineering background valued.
• 10+ years privacy and data protection experience, with 5+ in tech/FinTech.
• Expert knowledge of CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, GLBA, FTC Act Section 5, FCRA and related laws.
• Experience advising on adtech privacy, consent management, DSPs and data sharing.
• Experience mentoring privacy professionals; leadership in matrixed orgs.
• IAPP certifications preferred (CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP).

Responsibilities

• Lead a geographically dispersed privacy team and influence across product, engineering, legal and data science.
• Provide legal counsel on data governance, PETs, and first‑party data strategies.
• Drive privacy by design and guardrails for data processing across the product lifecycle.
• Represent Intuit before regulators, industry bodies, and data protection authorities.
• Develop and implement scalable privacy programs with a business mindset.
• Communicate complex legal issues clearly to executives and engineers.
