Job summary

Baker Tilly is actively seeking a Principal focused on Transaction Advisory Services to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements and to mentor a talented staff. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; master’s or advanced degree desirable.
• CPA/CFA credentials are a plus.
• Fifteen (15+) years of experience in transaction advisory services in a professional services firm.
• Experience with merger & acquisitions and financial due diligence; established relationships with private equity firms.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service and maintain ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted leader of buy-side and sell-side due diligence/quality of engagement.
• Proactively engage with clients to understand business goals and objectives.
• Advise and deliver solutions across all phases of the M&A lifecycle beyond QOE engagements.
• Provide guidance and business recommendations based on thoughtful analysis.
• Deliver business insight through review, analysis and discussion.
• Manage cross-functional teams to deliver engagements and meet client profitability targets.
• Network with internal and external stakeholders, including private equity firms, to build sources of repeat business.
• Invest in professional development and mentor team members to reach their goals.
