Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP, a leading advisory and CPA firm, seeks a Principal focused on Transaction Advisory Services to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements across industries. You will work with firm leadership to serve clients, develop the business, and mentor staff.

You will engage with clients year-round, deliver solutions across M&A phases, and drive growth through relationships with private equity firms and other referral sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; master's desirable.
• Fifteen (15+) years’ experience in transaction advisory in a professional services firm.
• CPA/CFA a plus; experience with mergers & acquisitions and financial due diligence.
• Demonstrated leadership, client service, and commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted leader of buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements.
• Proactively engage with clients to understand business goals and objectives.
• Advise and deliver solutions for all phases of the M&A lifecycle.
• Provide guidance and business recommendations based on thorough analysis.
• Deliver insights through review, analysis, and discussion with clients.
• Manage cross-functional teams to ensure client profitability and project success.
• Build relationships with private equity firms to generate new opportunities.
• Mentor and develop junior staff to enhance technical and professional skills.
