Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Principal focused on Transaction Advisory Services to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements across industries. You will work with firm leadership to serve clients, drive growth, and mentor staff, shaping the firm's advisory capabilities and delivering value to clients.

You will influence engagements from inception to completion, manage cross-functional teams, and build relationships with private equity clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA/CFA a plus
• 15+ years’ experience in transaction advisory in a professional services firm required
• Experience with merger & acquisitions and financial due diligence
• History of relationships with private equity firms and their portfolio companies
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, and deliver timely projects

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted leader of buy-side and sell-side due diligence
• Proactively engage with clients throughout the year
• Advise, implement and deliver solutions across all M&A lifecycle phases
• Provide guidance and business recommendations
• Deliver business insights through analysis and discussion
• Manage cross-functional teams to meet profitability targets
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders (PE firms)
• Invest in professional development and mentoring
• Support growth and development of team members
