Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Senior Principal Systems Test Lead for the Autonomous Collaborative Platforms (ACP) Organization. You will lead test planning, lab and flight testing, and reporting across Rancho Bernardo and Mojave, ensuring alignment with program objectives.

The role requires a strong background in system test, project leadership, and risk management, with the ability to obtain a US government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math with 8 years of related experience; or Master's with 6; or Ph.D. with 4.
• Background in system test including lab, ground, and flight test.
• Experience leading projects or teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government clearance.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Identify test program risks, issues, and schedule pressures; develop mitigation plans.
• Coordinate ground test engineering and aircraft modifications for testing.
• Interact with multiple sites to ensure cost and schedule targets are met.
• Provide program leadership for test site personnel and forecast resources.
• Communicate effectively; lead test engineers in a matrix environment.
• May support extended shifts, weekends, and holidays to maintain schedule.
