Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Senior Principal Systems Test Lead to join the Autonomous Collaborative Platforms Organization. This onsite role in Rancho Bernardo, CA requires support for ground and flight tests across Mojave, CA, with leadership of test teams and resources.

Candidates will have a STEM degree with extensive test operations experience and demonstrate strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8 years of related experience or advanced degrees with applicable experience.
• Experience leading test programs, labs, ground and flight tests.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US government clearance.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify test program risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Lead test engineering personnel and coordinate with multiple sites.
• Ensure staffing and resources align with Test Statement of Work.
• Provide program leadership and timely forecasts for management.
• Support extended shifts and occasional weekends as needed.
