Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Staff Systems Test Lead to join the Autonomous Collaborative Platforms Organization. The role is onsite in Rancho Bernardo, CA with testing in Mojave, CA. You will oversee lab and flight testing, staffing, planning and reporting to ensure mission objectives are met.

The position requires a strong background in system test, lab and flight testing, plus prior leadership of projects or teams. A US Government clearance may be required in due course.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
• Background in System Test, lab, ground/flight test.
• Experience leading projects or teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify test and test program risks, issues, and mitigations.
• Coordinate ground test engineering and aircraft modifications for testing.
• Interact with multiple sites to ensure cost and schedule targets are met.
• Provide leadership for test site staff and forecast resources.
• Lead test engineering personnel in a matrix environment.
