Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Engineer to join the Test and Evaluation organization. The role is 100% on-site at Edwards AFB, CA, supporting one or more aircraft platforms.

You will interface with design and analysis teams, develop test plans, and provide leadership in test readiness reviews. Basic qualifications include a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years (BS) or 3 years (MS) in a STEM field, plus an active Secret clearance and SAP eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).
• Active US Government Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Define test configuration and data requirements with design and analysis teams.
• Review and evaluate test requirements for completeness of the test program.
• Develop detailed test plans, safety plans, test schedules and procedures for developmental testing.
• Provide control room support and real-time decisions on safety, effectiveness and efficiency.
• Conduct pre/post-test data analyses to support anomaly identification and resolution.
