Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer in Tewksbury, MA, to lead RF/microwave system design including AESA concepts. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, integration, and leadership across cost and schedule responsibilities for complex phased array projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM required with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RF/microwave system theory and design is expected.
• Strong leadership, cost and schedule management skills preferred.
• Hands-on microwave testing using RF test equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Design RF microwave components and phased array applications.
• Integrate and test component- and system-level phased array hardware.
• Provide technical direction and coordinate with IPTs and stakeholders.
• Travel to integration sites and partner facilities as needed.
