Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Antenna and Microwave Engineer in Tewksbury, MA. The role focuses on RF/microwave system theory and design, including AESAs, CCAs, and associated subsystems. You will design components, lead testing, and support production with strong analytical skills.

The department develops phased array antennas, RF subassemblies, and advanced radar technologies for life-cycle support. This onsite role offers leadership growth and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and eight years of relevant experience.
• Experience in RF/microwave system design, AESA architectures, and CCA integration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design RF microwave components and phased array applications.
• Lead integration and test of component- and system-level phased array hardware.
• Provide technical direction and coordinate with IPTs, manage cost/schedule on programs.
