Job summary

Raytheon in Massachusetts is seeking a Principal Antenna and Microwave Engineer to apply RF/Microwave theory to AESA designs, with hands-on testing of components, cards and systems. You’ll lead design and testing activities, support production, and contribute to proposals.

The role emphasizes expertise in CCAs, microwave testing, and phased array technologies, with onsite work in Tewksbury/TEWKSBURY, MA. Leadership and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 8+ years in Microwave/RF design, analysis, and testing.
• Experience with HFSS, ADS, CST, Xpedition, and Matlab.
• Background designing/testing analog CCAs, including frequency conversion and AGC.
• Ability to allocate requirements from system to component level.
• Cost estimating and budget/schedule management.
• Strong coursework in Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, EM Theory, Radar.

Responsibilities

• Design RF microwave components and phased array applications.
• Integrate and test component- and system-level phased array hardware.
• Travel to integration sites and customer/subcontractor facilities as needed.
