Job summary

The Effector RF Design Team at Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to deliver innovative packaging solutions for antennas, RF circuit cards, radomes, and RF test equipment. You will lead multi-discipline programs, provide technical oversight, and help define technology roadmaps to enable modernization.

This onsite role in Tucson requires a STEM degree with 8–10+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain interim DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain interim DoD Secret clearance prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Guide mechanical design activities involving RF hardware.
• Orchestrate trade studies to determine best solutions and develop a plan forward.
• Convey task status on complex issues and influence strategic plans across groups.
