Job summary

Raytheon’s Effector RF Design Team in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior Principal Engineer to lead the design and implementation of antenna, radome, and RCS ranges/chambers. You will guide teams, shape technology roadmaps, and work with government programs to ensure compliance and innovation.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain interim clearance; onsite in Tucson with relocation possible. Strong programming and HPC skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM fields required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 8+ years.
• Experience testing antennas/radomes in chambers or ranges.
• Experience operating antenna, radome, and/or RCS chambers.
• Knowledge of antenna/sensor measurement theory and range operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop antenna, radome, advanced sensor systems, and/or RCS ranges/chambers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define, analyze, simulate, implement requirements.
• Oversee range/chamber implementations and supplier interactions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship across the team.
