Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Principal/Sr Principal Project Manager for our Roy, UT location. You will lead cross-functional project efforts, develop comprehensive plans, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.

The role requires strong communication, risk management, and leadership skills, with travel up to 10% and relocation assistance may be available. A DoD Secret clearance may be required, with the ability to obtain SAP approval as needed.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience with Bachelor's; 3 years with Masters; 1 year with PhD; or 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
• High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office suite.
• Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between projects and stakeholders, review status, manage schedules, and prepare reports.
• Develop and maintain project plans with work breakdown structures, detailed schedules, cost estimates, and resource allocations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with standards such as Earned Value Management.
• Oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects and act as liaison between project management and planning, team, and line management.
