Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, Utah is seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Project Manager to lead complex defense programs on site. You will coordinate schedules, budgets and risk management, and report progress to stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualified candidates have a strong background in project management, DoD secrecy, and Lean/Agile practices, with experience in SOW/SDRL and multi-project environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience with a Bachelor's; 3 years with a Master; 1 year with a PhD; or additional 4 years of experience
• 8+ years of project management experience with a Bachelor's; 6 years with a Master; 4 years with a PhD; or 4 extra years of experience in lieu of degree
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance and SAP access

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
• Control Account management including IMS and task management, cost accounting and EAC management
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers and clients
• Prepare reports and maintain comprehensive project plans with WBS, schedules, and resource allocations
