Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Project Manager for a role located in Roy, UT. The successful candidate will drive program execution, interface with IPTs and division leaders, and work closely with CAMs and WPLs to deliver results.

This full-time position requires a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance, strong EVMS, and excellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate across teams and deliver customer-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and program management experience.
• Proficient in EVMS and project controls.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to brief executive leadership and manage cross-functional teams.
• US Citizenship with DoD Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program execution and coordinate across IPTs and functional teams.
• Manage staffing requirements and project scope within assigned program.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, risks, and change controls.
• Prepare executive-level reports and customer briefings.
• Ensure compliance with program processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage CAMs, WPLs, and other stakeholders to gather variance explanations.
