Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT, is seeking a Sr Principal Project Manager to oversee operational aspects of large projects and coordinate with PMs, planning teams, and clients. This role requires a Secret clearance and active DoD background.

You will manage budgets, schedules, risk, and reporting, build metrics, and drive improvements in cost and schedule with a focus on supplier coordination and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application.
• 8 years with Bachelors; 6 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD; additional 4 years may be considered.
• Experience leading projects or cross-functional teams and briefing executives.
• Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, Atlassian, and complex scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects and align with PMs and clients.
• Manage budgets, schedules, risks and status reporting; drive issue resolution.
• Develop progress monitoring mechanisms and performance metrics.
• Coordinate supplier meetings, travel and cross-functional plan reviews.
