RTX in Goleta, CA is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to design and develop EW electronics for defense applications. You will lead airborne EW product design, work with cross-disciplinary teams, and contribute to proposals and documentation.

The role requires a STEM degree with 7–10+ years of experience and a DoD Secret clearance. Relocation assistance and a strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics (STEM) required, or advanced degree with 7+ years of related experience.
• Experience in modern electronic system design including high-performance FPGAs and mixed-signal circuits.
• Deep knowledge of FPGA-based digital/mixed-signal systems and power delivery networks.

Aufgaben

• Lead design and development of airborne electronic EW products, meeting size, weight, power, reliability, and cost targets.
• Prepare requirements, design artifacts, verification, and test plans for programs.
• Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and systems teams under technical leadership.
• Generate proposals and participate in cost/technical volume development.
• Brief executive leaders and manage cross-program activities; occasional travel expected.
