Job summary

RTX’s Advanced Programs in Goleta, California, is seeking a Systems Engineer specializing in Electronic Warfare (EW) to lead design, development, and implementation of EW systems onsite. The role requires a STEM degree and 2+ years in EW/Radar, with active Secret clearance.

You will coordinate across disciplines, conduct trade studies, and ensure program objectives are met. You will develop system specifications, manage interfaces, and participate in design reviews, customer briefings, and risk

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2 years in EW/Radar systems.
Experience with requirements decomposition, architecture definition, and system-level integration & verification.
Experience supporting SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR across multi-disciplinary teams.
Active and transferable U.S. government Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Systems Engineering focal point for the program and align to technical goals.
Lead requirements analysis, trade studies, and interface definitions.
Provide technical direction to engineering teams and coordinate with Lead Systems Engineer.
Maintain and enforce systems engineering processes across the lifecycle.
Develop system specifications, design docs, and test plans.
Coordinate system design, integration, testing, and verification.
Conduct system-level trade studies and performance analysis.
Participate in design reviews and customer presentations.
Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
