Job summary

RTX’s Advanced Programs in Goleta, CA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Electronic Warfare (EW) to lead the design, development, and deployment of EW systems for mission-critical programs. The role requires a solid systems engineering background, experience with EW/Radar integration, and the ability to drive requirements, architecture, verification, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM disciplines (e.g., EE, CS, Physics).
• 5 years of EW radar systems engineering experience.
• Experience with requirements, ICDs, and V&V plans.
• Support system-level technical reviews and cross-team coordination.
• Active and transferable DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Systems Engineering focal point for the program.
• Manage configuration, analyses, and translate requirements into hardware/software specs.
• Coordinate system engineering activities including design, integration and testing.
• Oversee system documentation: specs, designs, and test plans.
• Support risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Lead architecture trade studies and performance analyses.
