Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Arlington, VA seeks a Sr. Principal, Capture Management to lead our capture function across the sector. The role focuses on gate management, win strategy, competitive analysis, and price-to-win efforts to secure new business.

The ideal candidate brings extensive capture and program management experience, security clearances, and the ability to mentor new proposal managers while directing complex bids through to submission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 15 years of prior experience, Graduate Degree with 13 years prior experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic captures for the Sector.
• Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement capture strategies.
• Lead and participate in strategic reviews and workshops (e.g., Black Hat reviews, Win Strategy Workshops).
• Oversee Segment Capture certification program.
• Manage Competitive Intelligence for the Sector.
• Overseas Price to Win strategies to enhance the competitiveness of proposals.
• Lead effective storyboarding and development of strategic and proposal win themes and discriminators.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead proposals in partnership with new proposal managers to teach and mentor.
• Lead capture through to proposal submittal including solution development, proposal development, financial analysis, bid packages, with approvals.
