GitLab is seeking a Lead Pricing Strategist to shape pricing and packaging across our portfolio, including AI and usage-based products. You will partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Sales to evaluate opportunities, build business cases, and drive monetization strategies for a growing suite of offerings.

You’ll analyze market trends, model pricing scenarios, and influence senior leaders to align pricing choices with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SaaS pricing strategy.
• Ability to model pricing scenarios and business cases.
• Strong data analysis and BI skills for data-driven recommendations.
• Proven track record influencing executives and cross-functional teams.
• Experience communicating pricing concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Finance to define monetization strategies for new offerings and pricing improvements.
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and usage data to support recommendations.
• Formulate hypotheses, conduct analyses, and validate findings to inform pricing decisions.
• Lead regular pricing reviews and implement plans to optimize profitability.
• Evaluate new monetization models including AI, usage-based pricing, and new SKUs.
• Coordinate with product and fulfillment to map SKUs to features and launches.
