Job summary
Michigan State University Infrastructure Planning and Facilities seeks a Preventative Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Building Services - Maintenance Services on the 2nd shift. You will supervise skilled trades, overseeHVAC/R preventative maintenance, and manage staffing, budgets and safety compliance.

Qualifications
- HVAC/R trade training or college coursework with related experience.
- 5–8 years in supervising maintenance, especially HVAC/R, and emergency response.
- Experience with labor relations, budgets and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Building Services - Maintenance Services (2nd shift) and skilled trades.
- Oversee preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs for HVAC/R equipment and safety systems.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance; enforce university policies and labor contracts.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, schedules and long-range planning; coordinate with campus stakeholders.
