Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead design efforts on complex industrial projects.

You will perform complete mechanical design, piping and HVAC sizing, prepare construction specifications, and verify calculations while guiding drafters and engineers.

Requires 6+ years of industrial experience, a Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering, and PE preferred; effective communication and cross‑discipline coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of design standards and codes.
• Experience with piping systems and HVAC design.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete mechanical design for complex projects.
• Develop layouts, calculations and sketches for construction.
• Coordinate with designers and other disciplines for project flow.
• Review vendor drawings for mechanical input.
• Provide field support during startup and site visits.
