Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead complex project design and analysis. You will perform stress analyses, draft layouts, and prepare construction specifications for reliable equipment and piping systems.

The role requires 6+ years of industrial experience, strong knowledge of design standards, and effective communication to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. On-site startup support is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer registration preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform design of complex mechanical engineering assignments under supervision.
• Conduct stress analyses, calculations, and material specifications.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce detail designs and material take-offs for construction.
• Review vendor drawings for mechanical input and compliance.
• Provide field support during startup and site visits.
• Lead small teams and coordinate with other disciplines.
